The best healthcare provision considers the whole person, not just their medical needs. Many children and young people in our care face significant difficulties and challenges. While there is much we can do professionally to provide for their complex care – we want to do more.
We have set our sights on providing opportunities for them to experience the things that bring them joy. To provide relief and a sense of fun. To help take their mind off the constant appointments and healthcare challenges that fill so many of their days. And to create cherished memories for them and their families.
So we started a journey of granting wishes. Initially with a few of the children in our care that were facing difficult healthcare outcomes. We’re now delighted to announce that we have a new partnership with Make-A-Wish Foundation, to grow this aspect of our work and impact the lives of many more of our service users, for years to come. Our corporate partnership with the Make-A-Wish foundation enables us to help provide granted wishes through financial donations and unique volunteering opportunities for our staff team.
