Clare Rendell Appointed New Registered Manager with CQC

Clare Rendell, Head of Adults at First Option Healthcare, has achieved the status of Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

In her new role, Clare will be instrumental in ensuring First Option Healthcare operates efficiently, delivers first-rate care, and adheres to regulatory standards.

A Vital Role in Operations

The CQC serves as the government regulator for all Health and Social Care Services across the UK, as established under the Care Act 2008. It is mandatory for all care settings in the UK to have a Registered Manager, who is responsible for ensuring compliance with government regulations.

As a CQC Registered Manager, Clare will oversee the quality of service First Option Healthcare provides, ensure the safety and well-being of service users, maintain accurate records, implement policies and procedures, and address any complaints or concerns. The role carries legal responsibility for the service managed.
